Urgent Care Physician Assistant

Methodist Medical Group (MMG) a premier physician-led organization affiliated with Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas, is actively seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our newly established Express Care clinic in Red Oak, TX to work collaboratively with team of providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

MMG offers a spectrum of medical and surgical specialties including; Primary Care, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Hospital Medicine, Neurological Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedic Surgery, Transplant Surgery and various other specialty service lines.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time employment with a competitive compensation package
• Flexible 8 or 10-hr shift base schedule, 14-16 shifts per month

What You Will Do:

• Evaluate and treat patients from 0-99 yrs of age with a variety of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries
• Perform physical exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Perform minor procedures as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes

What We Are Looking For:

• Board Certified as a Physician Assistant
• Active Texas medical license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work from Monday Friday, 2p 10p and weekends from 9a 6p
• Previous PA experience in Acute Care, Primary Care, Urgent Care or Emergency Department setting, highly preferred
• Must be able to see all ages
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
