Position Highlights
- Full-time, employed OB/GYN with Valley Baptist Physician Network at Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen, TX
- Joining a well-established practice with mentorship available as a senior physician transitions to retirement
- Clinic located 2 minutes from Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; structured call model with in-house call rooms available
- L&D Unit: 14 labor rooms, 7 triage beds, 4 dedicated OBOR suites, 24-hour in-house anesthesia coverage
- Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system on site
- 3D mammography imaging available
- COEMIG and COERS certified for minimally invasive gynecologic and robotic surgical procedures
- State-designated Level III NICU with neonatologist coverage 24/7
- Level III Maternal Designation with MFM support through Driscoll provider partnership
- Exclusive Couplet Care model and dedicated Kangaroo Care nursing program
- Valley Baptist Health System: 586-bed Level II Trauma Center; part of Tenet Healthcare
- Full in-house administrative, billing, IT, HR, and legal support through Tenet Physician Resources

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO degree required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG or AOBOG)
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain an unrestricted Texas license
