This role places you in a robust medical-surgical setting, where you'll collaborate with a team recognized for its supportive culture and hands-on leadership. Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour nights (6:30pm-7:00am)
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week (48-hour contracts available upon request)
  • Three weekends per six-week schedule, every other holiday

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current active compact RN license
  • AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications (required at submission)
  • Minimum two years of strong med/surg experience with at least one prior travel assignment
  • Trauma level II experience
  • Recent EPIC charting experience (checkoff class required)
  • Proficiency in remote telemetry, chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight cath/Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood product administration, tracheostomy care, PCA management
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Care for a diverse med/surg patient population (including post-surgical, COPD, CHF, UTI, sepsis, high fall risk)
  • Float as needed between campuses and within clinical skillset (advance notice provided)
  • Potential to precept students and new staff within a teaching hospital environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient safety standards
