Job Summary: The Production Assistant is responsible for collecting all products from the end of the production line and packing the products per customer or job requirements. This position is also responsible for keeping the products and quantities grouped with respective orders. We have 1st shift and 2nd shift positions open. 1st shift works Monday-Friday; 6:00am-2:00pm. 2nd Shift works Monday-Thursday 1:45pm-11:45pm. This is a temporary summer position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Takes direction from the machine operators and/or production supervisor and completes assignments in a timely manner to ensure job requirements are metCollecting products from production line; packing jobs according to specifications; establishes counts, validates quantities, and product orientationPerforms systematic checks of product to ensure requirements are met, identifies quality issues and alerts the machine operatorsMaintains general appearance of surrounding press; picking up waste, wiping spills and cleaning machinesOther duties as assigned
Requirements:
