GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The User Access Specialist ("UAS") will help drive the design and implementation of various UAS requirements and processes. This position will be responsible for the management and oversight of user account provisioning, modification and terminations across all systems and ensuring all policies and work instructions are current.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF JOB:

1. Onboard all new hire employees into the Active Directory, JHA Core Director and ancillary products systems

2. Collaborate with department managers to identify employees' need for access to department specific products

3. Understand Controls, Control Gaps, and Action Plans

4. Review internal forms and move/add change requests to ensure proper execution

5. Communicate directly with employees or their manager regarding access credentials

6. Coordinate smooth transition of new employees to IT Ticketing system for ongoing IT support

7. Act as liaison with department managers to facilitate access to restricted resources

8. Review user account access reports for accuracy between all banking systems

9. Review security access reports to ensure account permission accuracy

10. Recognize inefficiencies throughout the onboarding/off boarding lifecycle and create plans to improve the process

11. Create automated forms and workflows for any department using bank approved tools to reduce errors and inefficiencies

12. Plan out desk moves

13. Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidential information are essential

14. Assist on related User Access audit reports

15. Ordering and tracking IT related purchasing

16. Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. Must be proficient with 10-key (by touch); alpha/numeric data entry; spreadsheets, word processing, basic typing.

2. RESPONSIBILITY FOR FUNDS, PROPERTY and EQUIPMENT: $10,000

3. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and understand general business- and company-related articles and

professional journals; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and/or employees.

4. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions,

percentages, area, circumference and volume; ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios and proportions to practical

situations.

5. CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations

where only limited standardization exists; ability to utilize common sense understanding to carry out written, oral or

diagrammed instructions; ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature.

6. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Under general supervision where standard practice enables the employee to proceed alone on

routine work, referring any questionable cases or issues to direct supervisor.

7. PLANNING: Considerable responsibility regarding general assignments in planning time, method, manner and/or sequence

of performance of own work; may also occasionally assist in the planning of work assignments performed by others within a

limited area of operation.

8. DECISION-MAKING: Performs work operations which permit frequent opportunity for decision-making of minor importance

and frequent opportunity for decision-making of major importance, either of which would affect the work operations of

medium organizational component and the organization's clientele.

9. MENTAL DEMAND: Very close mental demand; operations requiring very close and continuous attention for control of

operation requiring a high degree of coordination or immediate response; intermittent direct thinking to determine or select

the most applicable way of handling situations regarding the company's administration and operations; also determine or

select material and equipment where highly variable sequences are involved.

10. ANALYTICAL ABILITY / PROBLEM-SOLVING: Moderately structured; fairly broad activities using moderately structured

procedures with only generally guided supervision; High order of analytical, interpretative and/or constructive thinking in

varied situations.

11. PUBLIC CONTACT: Regular contact with patrons when initiated by employee; involves furnishing and obtaining information

and attempting to influence the decisions of those persons contacted; contacts of considerable importance that failure to

exercise proper judgment may result in important tangible or intangible losses to company.

12. EMPLOYEE CONTACT: Regular contact with co-workers within the department, office or enterprise, which will require

coordination of effort generally in the normal course of performing duties; requires tact in discussing problems, presenting

data and making recommendations.

13. ACCURACY: Probable errors of internal and external scope would have a moderate effect on the operational efficiency of

the organizational component concerned; errors might possibly go undetected for a considerable amount of time, creating

an inaccurate picture of an existing situation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORKING CONDITIONS:

While performing the essential functions of this job, this position is regularly required to sit or stand or talk; may occasionally lift, move, push or pull up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. This is an indoor position and the noise level in the work area is usually moderate.


REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

High school degree or GED equivalent; Knowledge in User Access Control or Identity Access Management preferred; one or more years of IT experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.


REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

This position reports directly to the IT Officer Manager, who reports to the IT Director. The IT Director reports to the Executive Vice President, Operations/Cashier. The Executive Vice President, Operations/Cashier reports directly to the President of American National Bank & Trust who reports to the CEO of American National Bank & Trust.
