Job Title: HR & General Affairs Associate

Reports To: HR & General Affairs Manager

FLSA Status: Salaried


Position Overview

The HR/General Affairs Associate supports the administration and coordination of day-to-day operations within the Human Resources and General Affairs functions. This role assists in the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs, and ensures compliance with Company standards and applicable regulations.


Key Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation and administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with Company goals and legal requirements.

Support recruitment and staffing activities, including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding for new hires.

Managing employee relations, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, and helping to enforce Company policies and practices in a fair and consistent manner.

Serve as a resource for employee relations, helping to address employee inquiries, concerns, and conflicts in a professional and confidential manner, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both electronic and physical formats, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with recordkeeping requirements.

Partner with the HR / GA Manager on policy enforcement, ensuring consistent application across departments.

Coordinate and support General Affair's functions, such as facility management, vendor coordination, procurement of supplies, and site services.

Must be willing to work overtime as required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs.

Perform other duties as assigned by management to support departmental and company objectives.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience required.

Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Psychology, Business Administration preferred.

Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access.

3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, General Affairs, or a related administrative support role (manufacturing environment preferred).

Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Work requires close attention to task for work to be accurately completed. Intermitted breaks during the workday do not compromise the work.

Work is varied every day and the employee needs to be adaptable to respond to these changes and use independent judgment and manage priorities.

Requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move throughout the premise
