Open and Close Dates: Apr 23, 2026 - Apr 30, 2026 Marketing Statement: Summary: This position is located in Human Resources Management, Office of the Executive Director, Bureau of Diplomatic Security(DS/EX/HRM). You will serve as a Management Analyst/Subject Matter Expect providing advice, guidance, technical assistance, and operational support to the Human Resources Officer (HRO), Supervisory HR Specialist, and staff of DS/EX/HRM, as well as representing DS at meetings within the Department and with other Federal agencies on task forces, committees, and working groups. Major Duties: Who May Apply: Job Status: Duration Appointment: This is a non-status, non-permanent Personal Service Contract (PSC) position. PSCs do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position. Contract is 1 year; renewable up to 4 years. Conditions of Employment: Education: Education requirements do not apply to this vacancy announcement. Requirements: Qualifications: Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing advice and guidance on existing and new procedure and policies related to Human Resources; Experience conducting, preparing studies and analzying results for senior management; Experience serving as a liasion and point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
