Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM-7:00 AM
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week (option to request 48 hours)
  • Rotating weekends: three out of every six weeks
  • Every other holiday coverage required

Qualifications:

  • Compact RN license (active)

  • Minimum 2 years RN experience; 1 year Ortho/Neuro/Trauma
  • One prior travel assignment
  • Experience in a trauma level II setting
  • Proficient with EPIC EMR system

Preferred Skills:

  • Chest tube/indwelling drain, drip, and wound management
  • Strong neuro assessment, PIV insertion, Tele/12-lead EKG
  • Resilient, adaptable, and strong communicator
  • Prior stepdown experience required

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy advanced clinical skills in a busy 44-bed unit
  • Collaborate with seasoned staff and precept students/new hires
  • Float within skillset across campuses as needed
  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to diverse Ortho/Neuro/Trauma population
