Maintenance Electrician We're seeking a skilled, licensed Maintenance Electrician who takes pride in keeping facilities and production equipment running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role supporting both building systems and manufacturing equipment, where your electrical expertise will directly impact uptime, safety, and operational performance. What You'll Do Maintain, repair, and install building electrical systems and related services Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of manual and automated manufacturing equipment, including process, calibration, and testing equipment, test chambers, welders, and machine tools Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage PM schedules, work orders, and documentation Identify critical spare parts needs and help maintain appropriate inventory levels Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers as needed Support facilities and cross-functional manufacturing projects Promote and maintain a safe working environment, strictly adhering to safety procedures including lockout/tagout, electrical safety standards, compressed gas protocols, fall protection, and proper PPE use Respond to after-hours emergency calls when required. What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of hands-on electrical trade experience Current Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electrician License (required) Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems including distribution equipment, motors, transformers, control centers, and generators Experience with electrical/electronic controls, pumps, and mechanical systems Familiarity with machine guarding systems, safety controls, and interlocks Ability to read and interpret schematics, control diagrams, manuals, and work instructions Computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word) Preferred Experience NFPA 70E training Fire alarm systems knowledge PLC troubleshooting and programming experience Experience with CMMS platforms Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and controls This is an opportunity to join a team where your technical skills and safety-first mindset truly matter.
