Shift

Enjoy a predictable 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts - working only about half the month (15 days), with every other weekend off. This is a night shift role (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM). Additional hours, including some weekends and overtime, may be needed to support production demands.

What You'll Do

• This position supports injection molding operations and focuses heavily on repairing and maintaining complex molds. Toolmakers work independently in the tool room using mills, lathes, grinders, welding equipment, and precision measuring tools to keep molds production-ready.
• All candidates will complete a mechanical and electrical aptitude assessment as part of the process.

• Machine shop equipment
• Heliarc and electric arc welding tools
• Electrical testing equipment
• Precision measuring instruments: Micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, depth gauges
• Hand and specialty tools
  

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Willingness to work any shift, including weekends
• Mandatory overtime is a condition of employment
• Ability to pass a mechanical and electrical aptitude assessment
• Strong attention to detail and precision craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and under pressure

Our Florence, Kentucky components plant manufactures battery containers, covers, and PowerFrame grids. Since opening in 1978, we've grown to employ 150 people and operate six days per week. We proudly support the community through food and hygiene drives and local nonprofit partnerships.
