Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Drywall, Sheetrock, and Metal Framing Laborer to support commercial construction projects. This role involves assisting with the installation of metal stud framing, hanging drywall, and general jobsite labor. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction experience, strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Para espanol, Pedro Lara Key Responsibilities Assist with layout and installation of light gauge metal stud framing Hang, cut, and install drywall (sheetrock) to walls and ceilings Measure, mark, and cut materials accurately Load, unload, and transport materials and tools on job sites Maintain a clean and safe work environment Assist skilled tradesmen (foremen, carpenters, drywall finishers) as needed Follow all OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely Qualifications 3+ years of experience in drywall, framing, or general construction preferred Familiarity with metal stud framing and drywall installation is a plus Ability to read a tape measure and basic construction drawings Physically capable of lifting 70+ lbs and working on ladders or stilts Reliable transportation to and from job sites Strong work ethic and punctuality required Preferred Skills Experience with commercial construction projects Knowledge of jobsite safety practices Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good understanding of blueprints and layout Work Environment Active construction sites (indoor and outdoor conditions) Exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions Requires standing, bending, lifting, and climbing throughout the day Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Opportunities for overtime Career advancement opportunities 401k retirement plan options with company matching.
