Locum CRNA - Lexington, KY Will License - $225-$245/hour

Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Lexington, Kentucky at a Level 1 Trauma Center.

This is a structured hospital-based assignment with strong case variety and academic exposure. The facility is actively willing to license qualified providers.

Position Overview

• Acute Care Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center)
• Full-time commitment required (must work 4 weeks per month)
• 13-week contract starting May 18, 2026
• Willing to license in Kentucky
• 90-day credentialing timeframe

Schedule

• Preference: 4x10-hour shifts
• Open to 8s, 10s, or 12s
• 7:00 AM start ( -hour unpaid lunch)
• Facility prioritizes candidates open to 10:00 AM start times (10-hour shifts)
• Providers must be available every week (no week-on/week-off)

Practice Environment

• Medical direction model
• CRNAs work alongside anesthesiologists, residents, and anesthesia techs
• Typical ratios: 2:1 or 3:1 (Anesthesiologist to CRNA)
• EPIC EMR
• All providers required to work NORA

Case Mix

• Orthopedics
• Trauma
• Vascular
• Neuro
• All age groups (no neonatal cases)
• No OB
• No cardiac

Skills Required

• Intubation
• Arterial line placement
• Central line placement
• General line placement
• Blocks unlikely

Requirements

• NBCRNA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience (no new grads)
• Recent experience in large medical center required
• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience strongly preferred
• Kentucky license required to start facility is willing to license qualified candidates
