An OB/GYN locum tenens opportunity is available, with primary responsibility for 24-hour on-site call coverage. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient services, including labor & delivery and emergent gynecologic care, in a well-supported clinical environment. The facility is seeking reliable coverage due to ongoing recruitment challenges.
Dates / Schedule - Start: As soon as credentialed ( 60 days)
- Duration: 6 9 months
- Shift: 24-hour call (7 AM 7 AM)
- Volume: 2 5 patients per day
- Schedule Need:
- 2 weeks per month
- 3 shifts per week
- Some flexibility on scheduling weeks
- Minimal possibility of floating to nearby facilities
Job Details / Responsibilities - Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage
- Manage:
- Labor & Delivery patients
- Vaginal deliveries and C-sections
- OB triage (after RN report)
- ED consults and GYN surgeries
- Support and collaborate with:
- CNMs and FP/OBs
- L&D RNs and full clinical staff
- Cover:
- Level 1 nursery
- GYN cases through ED
- Utilize Epic EMR
- Access to private on-site call room
Required Skills & Qualifications - Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN (BC preferred)
- Active Washington license (or IMLC with LOQ in hand)
- Certifications:
- Must be able to:
- Manage L&D patients independently
- Perform C-sections and routine OB procedures
- Support CNMs/FP-OBs
- Handle emergent GYN cases
- Clean malpractice/background strongly preferred
- Local candidates preferred (no flights)
