Springvale/Sanford, Maine: We seek a compassionate Psychiatrist to join a respected Federally Qualified Health Center serving approximately 7,500 mostly underserved patients in southern Maine. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a fully integrated setting with primary care, behavioral health, and dental teams, delivering meaningful care to a diverse patient population.This role combines direct patient care with team collaboration and program support. You will provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management across the lifespan while working closely with an established behavioral health team that includes experienced clinicians and psychiatric nurse practitioners. You will also provide supervision and clinical support to two PMHNPs and contribute to continuity of care across the practice.The patient population includes individuals with complex behavioral health and social needs, including those experiencing housing instability.
