ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Locum Hematology/Oncology physician to provide ongoing outpatient coverage at a free-standing cancer center. This role supports the team due to physician retirements and relocations, with a focus primarily on solid tumor oncology and timely access for new cancer diagnoses. The provider will work as part of a collaborative oncology team with radiation oncology and APP support.

Duration: Ongoing
Minimum Commitment: 2 weeks per month (Required)
Clinic Schedule: 4 5 days per week, 8:30 AM 4:30 PM
Includes admin day or half-day if needed
Call Schedule: 7 consecutive days (includes one weekend), 1:4 rotation
Work Week: Sunday Saturday
Credentialing Timeframe: 6 8 weeks
Setting: Outpatient, free-standing cancer center
EMR: EPIC
Trauma Level: III
Patient Volume (Outpatient): per day
Inpatient/Hospital Rounding: Only when patients are admitted for inpatient chemotherapy
Team Composition:
3 Physicians
2 Advanced Practice Providers
Radiation Oncologists onsite
Practice Mix:
80% Oncology (solid tumors; emphasis on rapid access for new diagnoses within one week of referral)
20% Hematology (most benign hematology referred out)
Functions as a clinical team member performing duties consistent with training and licensure in medical oncology and hematology
Board Certified in both Hematology and Oncology Required
Active Oregon License Preferred (willing to consider providers needing to obtain)
Clean background / no malpractice Highly Preferred
CAQH login and password Required at time of offer
DEA (verbal confirmation at name clear) Required
Self-Query NPDB (dated within the same month as presentation) Required
Must meet Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privilege criteria
