Urology Physician

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a locum Urologist beginning in 2026 to provide weekend inpatient call coverage. This opportunity supports a small urology team and offers the potential for locum-to-permanent placement. The role focuses on hospital-based care, including consults, rounding, and surgical procedures.

• Start: 2026

• Coverage: 1 2 (up to 2 3) weekends per month

• Shift Timing: Thursday or Friday morning through Monday morning

• Credentialing: Estimated 90 days (temporary privileges available)

• Practice Setting: Inpatient / Hospital-based only

• Reason for Coverage: Additional physician needed for inpatient support

• Team Composition:

  • 1 employed MD (provides inpatient support)

  • 2 APRNs (clinic/ambulatory only; no inpatient coverage)

• Other Urologists Onsite During Assignment: None

• Facilities: Labs and X-rays onsite

• Robotics: 3 robots available; robotic experience welcomed but not required

• Provide weekend urology call coverage

• Respond to consults

• Round on urology inpatients

• Perform required procedures and surgeries

• General urology

• Advanced endoscopic techniques

• Ureteroscopy

• Laser-certified procedures

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Urology Required

• Kentucky (KY) License Preferred (IMLC accepted)

• BLS & ACLS Certification Required

• Flu Vaccination Required

• COVID Vaccination Highly Preferred

• Self-Query NPDB Report Required

  • Must be dated within 30 days of presentation
