Job Details Responsibilities: Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport hazardous and tanker materials to and from specified destinations. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring all safety procedures are followed meticulously. Adhere to all Hazmat handling, safety, and emergency response protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories such as tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition. Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Report any incidents, accidents, or safety concerns to the appropriate authority promptly. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, representing the company in a positive light at all times. Qualifications: Valid CDL Class A license is a must. Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Clean driving record with no major violations. Demonstrated ability to operate large vehicles safely and responsibly. Comprehensive knowledge of Hazmat handling, safety, and emergency response protocols. Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
