- Inpatient Trauma and Emergency General Surgery service
- Adult patient population
- Inpatient surgical environment
Schedule
- Mix of day and night shifts
- Rotating schedule including Monday-Sunday coverage
- Predictable blocks of time off between shifts
Procedures and Cases
- Cases include IP Trauma and Emergency General Surgery
- Manage trauma activations and critical care patients
- Performance of bedside procedures including I&Ds and lac repairs
- Chest tube and central line placements required
- Responsibilities include AM rounds and OR first assisting
Requirements
- Pennsylvania license required
- 24 months of experience in Trauma Surgery or Acute Care
- Active ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
