Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) to join our Core Laboratory team in a high-volume reference lab setting. This is a full-time, permanent night shift opportunity ideal for professionals who thrive in an independent, fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering high-quality patient results.
As a Core Lab Generalist, you will perform a wide range of diagnostic testing across multiple disciplines, contributing to accurate and timely laboratory results that directly impact patient care.
Key Responsibilities - Perform routine and complex laboratory testing in areas including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, and Urinalysis
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results through quality control and quality assurance procedures
- Review and verify patient results, recognizing abnormal findings and taking appropriate action
- Adhere to all regulatory standards, safety protocols, and laboratory policies
- Assist with specimen processing and workflow management in a reference lab environment
- Collaborate with laboratory team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications - Bachelor s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- MT/MLS certification (ASCP or equivalent) preferred or required (depending on employer)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred (new grads may be considered)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently on night shift with minimal supervision
