This role provides advanced technical support and ser v es as a resource for lower-level technicians. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems M onitor proper usage, maintenance, and storage of all fleet equip ment (shop tools, vehicles, etc.) Per form overhaul o per ations on all components of assigned equip ment Accurately tro uble s h oot all assigned vehicle/equip ment systems Ensure work order accuracy and completion for assigned jobs Assist in maintaining detailed service records Provide mentorship and hands-on training for Level I, II, and III technicians Per form on-equip ment fabrication of covers, brackets, and frame members Per form corrosion con tro l and spot repair of body and frame components Per form welding/fabrication jobs using all metals Provide quality con tro l for all Level III mechanics and below Participate in training and developing training materials Help direct depart ment al and per sonnel activities in manager's absence Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Extensive experience in fleet maintenance, including gas/diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems Thorough knowledge of dia g n o s t ic tools and their pro per use ( i.e. volt ohm meters, scan tools, etc.) required Must be able to lif t, carry, and install heavy items Must supply personal tools and tool chest Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving reco r d Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays DATES OF EMPLOY MENT : Year Round Deer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
