- Position Type: Locum tenens CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
- Location: Plano, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth area healthcare jobs)
- Start Date: January 2026 or ASAP
- Contract Length: 3 6 months
- Shifts per Week: 3
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts or evenings (1:00pm 8:00pm); 16- and 24-hour shifts available
- Hours per Week: 36
- Call: One call shift per week (back-up or in-house), 1 2 weekend shifts per month; post-call off
CRNA Qualifications
- Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
- Texas state nursing license
- Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience (new graduate CRNAs welcome to apply)
- Experience in a medical direction anesthesia model preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
CRNA Responsibilities
- Administer general anesthesia for a variety of surgical cases, including general, vascular, trauma, and spine (no cardiac or pediatric cases; approximately 50% spine cases)
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and fellow CRNAs in a medical direction model
- Maintain accurate anesthesia records (paper anesthesia records; Meditech EMR)
- Participate in call coverage and scheduled weekend shifts as part of the healthcare team
- Deliver safe, effective anesthesia care and monitor patient outcomes
