Facility in Colorado Springs, CO seeking Anesthesiology locums coverageRates: $410/hrOpportunity HighlightsStart Date: August 1, 2026 Ongoing.Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM.Work-Life Balance: No call requirements.Care Model: Large group setting (55 Anesthesiologists / 30 CRNAs).Supervision: Required to supervise CRNAs/AAs (up to 3 at a time) approximately 40% of the time.EMR: EPIC (Hospital & Surgical Center).Clinical Scope & VolumeThe facility manages a high surgical volume across 22 operating rooms, treating severe and complex injuries.Daily Case Volume: 60 surgical cases per day.Case Mix: 50% General20% Complex Vascular (except open heart)20% Complex Ortho10% NeuroAcuity: 80% Adult / 20% Trauma.Patient Demographic: Mostly Adult; must be comfortable with Pediatrics.Required Procedures & SkillsGeneral/Trauma Anesthesia: Evaluation/management of acute volume and BP issues.Regional & Pain: Spinal, Epidural, and Regional Anesthesia; Ultrasound-guided blocks; Acute Pain Management.Invasive Lines: Central Line and Arterial Line placement (Required).Specialty Care: OB, Neurosurgical, Complex Vascular, and Complex Orthopedic cases.Airway: Ventilation management; access to difficult airway equipment provided.Provider RequirementsBoard Status: Board Certified in Anesthesiology (Required; BE not accepted).Experience: Must be able to perform Central Lines and Peds (Confirm at time of name clear).Availability: Must be able to cover 2 consecutive weeks per month (No exceptions).Licensure: Active Colorado (CO) License or IMLC LOQ highly preferred (Will review candidates willing to obtain a license).Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS/APLS (Required).Background: Clean malpractice and background highly preferred.Documentation: Self-Query NPDB report (pulled within 30 days) required at presentation.About WhiteCoat Locums:- Physician owned and led agency- Highest-Pay rates on the market- $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail- 100% transparency
