CRNA Job Details

• Position: Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Location: North Richland Hills, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth area)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential extension
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days (40 hours per week)
• Practice Setting: Hospital and Surgical Centers

CRNA Qualifications

• Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license
• Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Experience with general surgery anesthesia and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ability to work under physician supervision
• Familiarity with paper anesthesia records and Cerner EMR systems preferred
• Credentialing process: 90-120 days

CRNA Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for general surgery, bariatric, orthopedic, urology, gynecology, ENT, and GI procedures
• Optional participation in pediatric dental, ENT, and ophthalmology cases
• Collaborate with supervising physicians (1 physician per 2-4 CRNAs daily)
• No requirement for regional anesthesia (blocks, spinals, or epidurals)
• Maintain accurate anesthesia documentation using paper records and Cerner EMR
