CRNA Job Details

• Assignment Type: Locum tenens CRNA position (travel contract)
• Location: Faribault & Owatonna, Minnesota (Zip: 55021) Southern Minnesota healthcare jobs
• Start Date: February 9, 2026
• End Date: May 11, 2026
• Shift: Day shifts, Monday-Thursday (8-hour days: 07:00 - 15:30); Fridays for emergent cases only
• Call: Weekend and PM call required, rotated among providers (beeper call with 30-minute response time; sleep rooms available)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Charting System: Epic EMR

CRNA Qualifications

• Active Minnesota CRNA license or eligibility to obtain
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
• Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience in a clinical healthcare setting
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong OB anesthesia experience, including VBAC/TOLAC
• Proficiency with epidurals, TAP blocks, spinal and peripheral nerve blocks
• Ability to work in both supervised (Owatonna) and unsupervised (Faribault) anesthesia care models
• Epic charting experience preferred

CRNA Responsibilities

• Provide general, OB, and pediatric anesthesia care at both Faribault (unsupervised) and Owatonna (supervised) hospitals
• Float between healthcare facilities as needed (locations are 20 minutes apart)
• Perform special procedures including VBAC/TOLAC, epidurals, TAP blocks, spinal and peripheral nerve blocks
• Participate in rotating weekend and PM call coverage (beeper call with 30-minute response time)
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care in both elective and emergent situations
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical support staff
• Document all anesthesia care accurately in the Epic EMR system
