Locum Gastroenterologist in Illinois - Weekday Coverage
Gastroenterology locums opportunity in Illinois offering a balanced mix of inpatient consults and outpatient endoscopy with weekday-only coverage and lighter volumes.

- No weekend coverage required
- Low patient volume with manageable productivity
- Ongoing locums need during permanent search

Practice Setting:
- Mix of inpatient consults and outpatient clinic
- Adult-only patient population
- Collaborative hospital-based GI environment
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday daytime coverage
- Minimum 5 consecutive shifts per block
- Ability to pick up additional weekday blocks
Cases and Procedures:
- General gastroenterology care
- Endoscopy and hospital consults
- ERCP and EUS experience welcomed but not required
Requirements:
- Board Certified Gastroenterologist
- Active Illinois medical license
- ACLS and BLS required
Travel Accommodations:
- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
