We are seeking a skilled, board-certified or board-eligible Thoracic Surgeon to join a reputable, hospital-based practice on a locum tenens basis, with potential for permanent placement. Fellowship training and experience in oncologic thoracic surgery are required.
- Board Certified or Eligible Thoracic Surgeon (Will consider a CVT Surgeon who is interested in only doing Thoracic only)
- Start Date: October ongoing
- Schedule: 5-7 shifts per month (combination of consecutive and non-consecutive shifts)
- Hours: 24 Hour Call Coverage (Consults and Surgeries if Required)
- Volume: Low
- Practice Setting: Established hospital-affiliated group, currently consisting of two thoracic surgeons
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside a collaborative team including a local cancer center, thoracic oncologists, and radiation oncologists
- Procedures: Robotic, laparoscopic, and open thoracic surgeries (experience with advanced technology preferred)
- Experience with Oncologic Thoracic surgery required
- EMR Systems: Cerner
- Locum to permanent if desired
