Job Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care in various environments including Level 2 trauma settings
- Manage cases involving OB, thoracic, and healthy pediatric patients, among others
- Perform spinals and epidurals independently
- Potentially handle call shifts as per department requirements
Qualifications
- Current or in-process VA license
- AHA certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience; Level 2 trauma experience mandatory
- Proficiency in OB and thoracic anesthesia
Working Hours
- Full-time schedule, 36-40 hours per week
- Flexibility with shifts: potential for weekdays and/or nights
- Nightly or weekend call coverage available and paid separately
Skills
- Strong capability in spinal and epidural anesthesia management
- Experience with a variety of cases, including orthopedic, GI, and ENT
- Ability to adapt between different hospital settings and patient needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a diverse team
