We are urgently hiring for a Travel: CLS II position, offering a competitive hourly rate of $42.90. Key Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution, or equivalent laboratory training meeting CLIA regulations (42 CFR 493.1489). Certification as MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT from ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HEW/HHS, with current certification maintained. Excellent transfusion service (blood banking) skills. Proficiency in routine and complex laboratory procedures, specimen processing, and handling. Experience operating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation. Ability to utilize Laboratory Information Systems effectively. Strong understanding of quality control protocols and regulatory compliance. Ability to adapt patient care responsibilities to meet diverse developmental and cultural needs. No prior experience required for new graduates from accredited programs; one year of relevant clinical laboratory experience preferred. Nice to Have Skills: Experience in Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, or Urinalysis. Cross-training experience in multiple laboratory sections. Familiarity with new testing procedures and protocols development. Additional certifications or training in specialized areas. Preferred Education and Experience: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field. Clinical rotation experience in blood banking, microbiology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, or urinalysis. Prior work in an accredited laboratory within the last five years. Other Requirements: Certification must be current and maintained. Willingness to travel as required. Start date: April 13, 2026. Work schedule: 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (6:30 a.m. 3:00 p.m.).
