T alent Acquisition Specialist - Manufacturing & CNC Talent
Location: Plymouth, MN (Hybrid - 2-3 days in office)
Productivity, Inc. is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us find the skilled professionals who keep advanced manufacturing running. If you understand the world of machining, CNC equipment, automation, and technical service-and know how to identify great talent in those fields-this could be a great fit.
We are a long-established distributor and integrator of CNC machine tools and automation solutions. Our team works closely with manufacturers across the region, and the people we hire-service engineers, machinists, applications engineers, and automation technicians-play a critical role in helping customers succeed.
This role will lead recruiting efforts for a variety of technical positions across our organization and offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule (2-3 days in the office)
What You'll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and skilled trade positions
- Recruit for roles such as CNC service engineers, machinists, CNC programmers, automation technicians, applications engineers, and related technical positions
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies
- Leverage Indeed, LinkedIn, social media, and other emerging tools
- Source candidates through industry networks, job boards, referrals, trade schools, and technical programs
- Screen candidates to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit
- Coordinate interviews and guide candidates through the hiring process
- Build pipelines of skilled manufacturing and technical talent for current and future needs
- Represent the company professionally with candidates, schools, and industry partners. Attend career fairs. Create partnerships with local schools.
What We're Looking For
- Experience recruiting in manufacturing, machining, CNC, or industrial automation environments
- Proven success in recruiting skilled technical roles such as machinists, CNC programmers, field service technicians, or automation technicians
- Ability to understand technical job requirements and communicate effectively with candidates and hiring managers
- Strong sourcing and networking skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, recruiting tools, and platforms
