CNC Maintenance Technician - Field Service Join Productivity, Inc, a leader in machine tool sales, service, and automation integration since 1968. We're looking for an experienced, skilled CNC Field Service Engineer to support customers with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of advanced production equipment. Open to candidates willing to relocate to the Denver, Colorado area - relocation assistance available. What you'll do Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tool equipment and controls. (Productivity provides a company vehicle; gas and travel expenses are covered.) Perform new machine installations and setup Perform repairs and adjustments of spindles, drives, slides, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, electrical peripherals, and other items Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems Calibrate, adjust, and replace components to ensure precise machine performance Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers and internal teams Use online technical documentation, manuals, and vendor resources to research and resolve machine issues. Complete and submit accurate documentation to Productivity and customers regarding machine status, repairs, and installations. What you'll bring 3 or more years of experience in CNC repair and troubleshooting, particularly with Makino and Matsuura equipment, is required. Ability to independently diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Proficiency with software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office); role requires regular use of a laptop, smartphone, and various applications. Strong technical, communication, and presentation skills. Willingness to work flexible hours with frequent travel throughout Colorado. (Technicians are dispatched daily from home to customer locations.) Robotic - Automation Technician Productivity, Inc. is a CNC machine-tool distributor headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota. In addition to selling CNC metalworking equipment, we design and integrate advanced automation solutions for general and precision machining operations-primarily using FANUC robotic systems. Our automation business continues to grow, and we're looking for experienced Automation Technicians who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and seeing projects through from build to install. Perform system setup, robot path adjustments, and final commissioning. Robot programming Write and modify teach-pendant programs with proper logic for machine-tending applications. Automation projects Program, complete, prove-out, and deliver automation solutions based on customer requirements. What We're Looking For 1+ year of experience in a Robot or Automation Technician role or similar Degree or certificate in Automation Technology, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automated Machinery Systems, or a related field Experience with FANUC robots preferred Knowledge of ROBOGUIDE, FANUC teach pendant programming, HandlingTool, and iRVision is a plus Strong understanding of electrical circuitry, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams Proficiency using hand and power tools Ability to safely perform electrical wiring and troubleshooting Familiarity with robot integration and machine-vision applications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a project-based team Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record Willingness to work occasional overtime and overnight travel ( 20%) Why Productivity?
