Job Summary:

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our Emergency Medicine Team in Fort Pierce, Florida and its Free-Standing Emergency Department in Vero Beach.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES

Must be board-certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT PROFILE

Level II Trauma Center

100,000+ annual patient visits in Main ED and 16,000 in pediatric ED

42-bed ED including 5 fast-track plus 5 monitored beds

3 trauma bays, including 1 pediatric

70 hours total of physician coverage (main ED and Peds ED)

60 hours of APP coverage

26% admission rate

Comprehensive Stroke facility with bi-plane

Interventional cardiac cath facility

Several dedicated ED glide scopes and ultrasound

24-hour inhouse Hospitalist and Intensivists
