Adelphi is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to perform advanced vocational nursing work at a facility in Tom Green County, Texas. Provide for the care, treatment, and general welfare of individuals at the facility. Perform routine and advanced nursing tasks during assigned shifts. Administer medications and treatments orally, rectally, internally, or by injection. Collect specimens for laboratory work and perform health screenings. Monitor individuals for treatments and procedures. Provide education to individuals with specific health goals. Perform technical nursing procedures according to facility and state regulations. Instruct staff on providing care that supports medical needs. Assist staff with turning or repositioning individuals when administering treatments. Ensure that medical and treatment supplies are available. Maintain individuals medical records in the EHR or paper charts. Document and report pertinent observations and communicate information to the care team. Respond to emergencies and follow safety and infection control procedures. Work under limited RN supervision, using independent judgment. Maintain regular attendance and work assigned or rotating shifts as required.
