Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  • Monitor residents' health status, administer medications, and document care activities accurately.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to promote a positive care environment.

Required Skills:
  • Valid Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • Proven experience in a residential or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Bilingual abilities or additional language skills.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health or mental health care.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in Kansas.
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a residential or long-term care environment.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work 10-hour evening shifts.
  • Ability to travel locally if required.
  • Compliance with all licensure, certification, and background check requirements.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
