Join Our Team as a Temp Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Long Term Care (LTC)

Required Skills:
- Valid LVN or LPN license in the state of practice
- Proven experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
- Strong clinical skills including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, residents, and families
- Ability to observe and respond to changes in residents mental and physical health promptly
- Competency in electronic documentation and medication records management (MARs/TARs)
- Leadership capabilities to supervise and support Nursing Assistants (LNAs) in compliance with licensing standards
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with wound vacs or gastrostomy feedings
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with strong organization skills
- Bilingual abilities may be beneficial for diverse resident populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Current valid LVN or LPN license in the applicable state
- At least 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term care or equivalent settings
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Own reliable transportation, as the facility is in a remote rural area with limited public transit and housing options
- Ability to work full-time hours based on scheduled shifts
- Willingness to adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding medication and resident care practices
- Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred but not mandatory
