Your expertise will help improve lives daily, ensuring residents receive compassionate and comprehensive nursing services.

Required Skills:
  • Valid LVN or LPN license in the state of practice
  • Proven experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
  • Strong clinical skills including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, residents, and families
  • Ability to observe and respond to changes in residents mental and physical health promptly
  • Competency in electronic documentation and medication records management (MARs/TARs)
  • Leadership capabilities to supervise and support Nursing Assistants (LNAs) in compliance with licensing standards

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with wound vacs or gastrostomy feedings
  • Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently with strong organization skills
  • Bilingual abilities may be beneficial for diverse resident populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Current valid LVN or LPN license in the applicable state
  • At least 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term care or equivalent settings
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:
  • Own reliable transportation, as the facility is in a remote rural area with limited public transit and housing options
  • Ability to work full-time hours based on scheduled shifts
  • Willingness to adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding medication and resident care practices
  • Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred but not mandatory
