• Schedule: Monday - Friday

• Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)

• Call: None

Licensure

• Active Illinois license required

Board Status

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Certifications Required

• ACLS

• BLS

• CSR

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• Neurology experience required

• Strong background in stroke and general neurology

Provider will join the inpatient neurology team providing care across the neurological spectrum. Responsibilities include:

• Rounding on inpatient neurology patients

• Performing new patient consults

• Managing stroke alerts

• Responding to acute emergency department and transfer evaluations

• Providing pre- and post-operative management for endovascular cases

• Handling intermittent clinic in-basket management

• Collaborating with attending neurologists, hospital staff, and multidisciplinary teams
