Registered Nurse (RN) - Observation Unit/ Med/Surg Unit is needed in Gainesville, FL.

This position is with a progressive, financially stable Hospital System.
Salary and Benefits
- Hourly Rate- $30.00 - $43.20
- Days (Rotating Weekends)
- Nights (Rotating Weekends)
- Shift Differential $4.25 nights/ $3.00 for weekends
- Sign-on Bonus $15,000 for days / $25,000 for nights (paid over 2 years)

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, utilizing your expertise to manage patients needs effectively.
- Regularly assess and document patients conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions, including medications and therapeutic procedures.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
- Uphold safety and infection control standards.
Requirements
- 1 year of recent (Within the last 4 years) of Observation/Med-Surg acute care RN experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Bachelor s Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma.
- Florida RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If a compact license is held, an active FL RN license is required within 90 days of hire.
