Job Title: Obstetrics and Gynecology - Laborist Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our hospital's Laborist program at DMC in Modesto. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, focusing on labor and delivery management. Key Responsibilities: Provide 24/7 coverage for labor and delivery units, managing laboring patients and ensuring safe deliveries. Assist in the management of obstetric emergencies and complications with swift and effective interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. Participate in postpartum care, including patient education and discharge planning. Maintain accurate documentation of clinical findings and procedures in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices in obstetrics and gynecology. Qualifications: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in California. Proven experience in labor and delivery, with strong clinical skills in obstetric emergency management. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Ability to work 12 and 24-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
