Position: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Permanent Role

Certification Requirements: BLS (AHA) certification required

Salary Range: Up to $22 per hour, commensurate with experience

Placement Fee: 18% for permanent placement (client prefers local candidates)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform clinical support procedures under the supervision of the Office Nurse or Physician, ensuring high-quality patient care and smooth practice operations. LPNs are also encouraged to apply, and recent graduates or those with equivalent qualifications are welcome.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct blood draws, administer injections, perform child immunizations, and carry out diagnostic tests within the scope of CMA certification.
  • Assist physicians during examinations by recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
  • Maintain clinical areas by ensuring cleanliness, proper organization, and stock of necessary supplies.
  • Manage patient communications, including making and returning phone calls as directed by the Physician.
  • Provide patients with pre- and post-visit instructions as per physician guidelines.
  • Requisition and monitor supplies to ensure clinic readiness.
  • Support accurate documentation by updating medical records, referral forms, lab slips, and related paperwork.
  • Facilitate patient movement to and from exam rooms, prepare patients for procedures, and assist during treatments and examinations.
  • Perform additional nursing procedures as delegated by the Physician.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team, demonstrating flexibility and a patient-centered approach.
  • Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in appearance, attitude, and patient interactions.
