What You ll Need: Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, with competency in Hematology and Chemistry. Active MLS (Medical Laboratory Scientist) certification from ASCP. Proficiency with laboratory instruments such as Beckman automation lines, AU 5800/680, DxH 900/800, DxI 800, Cobas e801, TOP720, ABL 825 FLEX, Iris Velocity, Iris iQ200. Knowledge of laboratory software including Beaker and AMS. Flexibility to work 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, with scheduled weekend rotations (every other Friday and Saturday night or Friday-Monday nights). Ability to attend orientation at KU NEO from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on the first Monday and Tuesday. Nice to Have: Experience with laboratory automation and software systems. Additional certifications or training in advanced laboratory techniques. Prior experience working in high-volume or specialized clinical laboratories. Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field. At least one year of relevant laboratory experience in Hematology and Chemistry. Other Requirements: Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as dictated by unit needs. Admission to a nicotine-free facility. Willingness to attend orientation sessions prior to start date. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shift schedules. No floating requirements unless explicitly specified; flexible weekend work is beneficial. This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $0.00 (please confirm actual rate).
