Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Full-Time Location: Detroit, MI (Details to be discussed during interview) Overview: Henry Ford Health is seeking a highly qualified, full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our esteemed Anesthesiology team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a challenging, high-acuity Level I Trauma Center environment, providing comprehensive anesthesia care across diverse surgical and procedural cases. Key Responsibilities: Deliver anesthesia services to adult and pediatric patients within an inpatient hospital setting. Manage pre-anesthetic assessments, ensuring thorough patient evaluations prior to procedures. Administer safe and effective anesthesia while continuously monitoring intraoperative patient vitals and adjusting as necessary. Provide post-anesthesia recovery care, including pain management and patient stabilization. Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, perioperative nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care. Participate in scheduled night and weekend call coverage, responding within one hour and maintaining a two-hour callback time when on-call. Document all patient interactions and anesthesia records accurately within the EPIC electronic medical record system. Ensure compliance with hospital credentialing, clinical standards, and licensing requirements. Support staffing efforts during ongoing staffing shortages, maintaining high-quality care standards. Qualifications: Valid current certification as a CRNA with active NBCRNA certification. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. Proven experience in a hospital-based anesthesia practice; candidates without recent, active certification or with lapsed credentials are not eligible. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a high-pressure environment. Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates. Candidates must be willing to work the designated shifts without requesting alternative schedules. Candidates should not seek long commutes (more than one hour) or hold multiple job commitments. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, with potential salary expectations discussed during the interview process. $40,000 sign-on bonus.
