Position Details:
- MD/DO single coverage model
- No NP/PA coverage
- No call
- Shifts: 7a 7p or 6p 7a
- Annual ED Volume: 8,220
- Patients per day: (higher in summer due to cruise tourism)
- 12% admissions 3% transfers
- 10 ED rooms + 3 hallway care spaces
- No scribe coverage
- EMR: Epic
- Backup specialties available (Anesthesia, Peds, ICU, General Surgery, Ortho, L&D, Case Management)
Credentialing:
- 2 3 months with AK license & DEA
- Alaska license strongly preferred (licensing & Medicaid enrollment can be lengthy)
Compensation:
- Daily OT after 12 hours
- Weekly OT after 168 hours
