Position Type: Locum Physician Interventional Cardiology
Opportunity for a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist to provide inpatient call coverage only in Boise, ID. This role offers competitive compensation for 24-hour call shifts with APP support during the day.
Coverage: Call only, no clinic
Hours: 7a 5p daily; additional 5p 7a call on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (24 hours total)

Patient Volume: 2 procedures/day
Trauma Level: II
Beds: 18 ICU, 18 tele, 10 CMU
Support Staff: 1 2 APPs weekdays; 1 APP for 5 hrs/day on weekends
Procedures Required: Interventional cardiology procedures including balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs, IFR; TEE preferred
STEMI Activations: Avg. 3 per week (2020 data)
EMR: Epic
Board Certified Interventional Cardiology REQUIRED
Active Idaho License OR IMLC LOQ REQUIRED
Clean malpractice/background REQUIRED
COVID Vaccination REQUIRED (verbal confirmation needed at name clear)
Local Candidates Preferred (no flights)
Must cover most or all listed dates REQUIRED
Shift Type: Call only, inpatient only
Coverage: 24-hour call on select days; 7a 5p call daily
No clinic responsibilities
