Psychiatrist Full-Time

Hourly Pay Range: $94.05 $141.07
Monday Friday Day Shift (8:00 4:30 or 9:00 5:00)
Role Overview
We re seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric care in an outpatient-focused setting with consultative support across behavioral health services. This role offers predictable weekday hours, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an urban healthcare setting.
What You ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
- Provide behavioral health consultations (formal and curbside )
- Deliver emergency psychiatric services during scheduled clinic hours
- Facilitate inpatient psychiatric hospitalizations when clinically indicated
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses and medication plans
- Assist patients with access to medication assistance programs
- Coordinate care with behavioral health teams and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services
- Complete disability evaluations and required clinical documentation
- Refer patients to appropriate community and vocational resources
- Participate in program development, policy creation, and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide clinical supervision, feedback, and staff development support
Required Qualifications:
- MD or DO with active Missouri medical license
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
- Current DEA and BNDD registration
- Medicare and Medicaid enrollment (or eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of Psychiatry experience
Preferred:
- Experience or strong interest in urban healthcare settings
- Active participation in professional psychiatric organizations
