Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician (Inpatient / Outpatient Mix)
Full-Time Pleasanton & Livermore, CA
2-Year Base Salary Guarantee: $450,000 Annually

Role Overview

We re seeking a BC/BE Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physician to join a collaborative, physician-led practice in the East Bay. This position offers a balanced mix of outpatient pulmonology, inpatient pulmonary consults, and ICU coverage, with strong academic collaboration and teaching opportunities.

Practice Highlights
  • Outpatient Pulmonary + Inpatient ICU/Critical Care + Pulmonary consults
  • Primary clinic in Pleasanton, secondary site in Livermore
  • Approx. patients per day in clinic
  • Includes PFT interpretation
  • 36 patient contact hours/week
  • Join a team of 3 physicians
  • Diverse and established patient population

ICU & Call Schedule
  • 4 weeks of ICU coverage per year (1-week blocks)
  • 1.5 ICU night shifts/month
  • 1 2 ICU swing shifts/month
  • Pulmonary call 1:3
  • CVICU experience required
  • EBUS bronchoscopy preferred
  • Sleep Medicine certification a plus (not required)

Teaching & Collaboration
  • Work closely with academic faculty physicians
  • Teaching opportunities with Critical Care Fellows and Family Medicine Residents
  • Potential academic appointment available

  • $450,000 annual base salary guarantee (first 2 years)
