The Senior Respiratory Manager directs and manages the operation, patient and physician satisfaction, staff engagement, profitability, and clinical outcomes of assigned inpatient and outpatient departments. Responsible for facilitating the planning, organization, implementation, and control of the resources for optimal performance of the departments in coordination with the Director of Respiratory Therapy. Accountable for delivery of high-quality care and the administrative management of the department on a 24-hour basis.

The Senior Manager, Respiratory Therapy provides divisional-level leadership across the respiratory therapy department. This role partners closely with the Director to drive strategy, workforce planning, financial stewardship, and readiness for growth and expansion

Additional Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Master's Degree in a related field, or currently enrolled in a Master's program with completion within 4 years with signed advancement agreement. Must have 8 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience including 5 years of progressive respiratory leadership experience (3yrs must be in respiratory management).

Licensure/Certification:
Registered (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
License by the Board of Medical Examiners of S.C.
Adult (BLS, ACLS) Peds (BLS, PALS, NRP)
Professional Respiratory Organizational membership (AARC)
