JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Pathologist Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Georgetown, SC Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM COVERAGE DATES January 19, 2026 January 23, 2026 February 16, 2026 February 20, 2026 February 23, 2026 February 27, 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: All ages Phone Consults: As required Case Mix: Anatomic and clinical pathology services across multiple sites FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Office Equipment Available: Standard pathology and laboratory equipment Specialty Backup Available: Multi-site pathology teams Support Staff Available: Laboratory and hospital support staff Reason for Coverage: Urgent full-time coverage need PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: Expedited credentialing required Cross-Facility coverage and multi-site credentialing required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging and Malpractice Insurance REQUIRED PROCEDURES Diagnostic pathology case review across assigned subspecialties JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active South Carolina medical license required Board: Board Certified in Pathology Experience: Multi-site pathology coverage experience preferred Other Qualifications: Must list all pathology subspecialties with submission DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide diagnostic pathology services across multiple hospital and affiliate sites Read and interpret pathology cases onsite Collaborate with laboratory staff and clinical teams Complete hospital modules and Epic personalization requirements Accurately document and report pathology findings in Epic EMR
