Join our Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner General Medicine in Missouri

We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioners to provide essential General Medicine services across Missouri. This role offers a meaningful way to apply your skills while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.
As a vital member of our team, you will conduct non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, primarily interview-based with minor physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing. Your work will directly support Veterans health evaluations, contributing to their well-being and benefits claims.
Required Skills:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri or eligibility for licensure.
- Proven experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family practice, or related fields.
- Strong communication and patient interview skills.
- Ability to perform physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Knowledge of assessment protocols for Compensation & Pension evaluations.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with VA or military health-related assessments.
- Certification in advanced assessment techniques.
- Familiarity with medical documentation and report submission in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN, DNP).
- At least one year of clinical practice experience in general or internal medicine.
- Prior experience in military or veteran health evaluations is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
- Must own and operate a dedicated office space within a 50-mile radius of the listed locations in Missouri.
- Availability to work PRN, on days as specified, with flexible half-day or full-day shifts.
- Ability to complete required training ahead of service start.
- No experience required for certification of DME or portal training prior to engagement.
- Willing to travel within the specified counties; travel expenses are included in the pay rates.
