As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide expert nursing care under the supervision of the Unit Manager, ADON, or DON. You will assess residents needs, implement care plans, evaluate outcomes, and ensure safety and comfort. Your role will also include supervising nursing assistants, adhering to state regulations, and maintaining the standards of the facility. Required Skills:

• Valid and active LVN/LPN license in Michigan
• Proven knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care standards, and safety protocols
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and resident needs

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in Long Term Care settings
• Familiarity with JCAHO standards and the MI iCHAT system
• Bilingual abilities are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Current LVN or LPN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in LTC or a similar setting

Other Requirements:

• Available for scheduled shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM for 12-hour shifts
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs; blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Must have an active MI iCHAT account and be authorized for fingerprinting
• Compliance with all state and federal regulations, including the Nurse Practice Act
