Required Skills: Active medical license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one Board certification or eligibility in Neonatology (MD/DO) Proven experience in neonatal intensive care, including Level II NICU environments Strong clinical skills in neonatal assessment, stabilization, and treatment Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently and handle high-acuity cases efficiently Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience working in a Level III NICU setting Familiarity with advanced NICU technology and protocols Experience with family-centered care initiatives Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of a pediatric residency and neonatal fellowship Minimum of 2 years relevant clinical experience in neonatal medicine Valid Texas medical license or eligibility Other Requirements: Availability for varied shifts, including 24-hour rounding plus call from home or hotel Willingness to start as soon as possible Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Prior experience handling a Level II NICU caseload preferred This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading healthcare provider and contribute to the health and well-being of newborns in Wichita Falls.
