Description:
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and install sheet metal ductwork systems for HVAC projects, ensuring quality and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and SMACNA standards for proper duct installation.
- Collaborate with technicians, installers, project managers, and contractors to meet project goals.
- Support both new construction and retrofit projects.
- Work independently while maintaining communication with the superintendent, builder, and management.
- Identify and resolve potential issues proactively to keep projects on schedule.
- Help coordinate project scheduling and assign appropriate technician and installer support.
- Attend project and team meetings as required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in sheet metal installation for HVAC systems.
- Strong understanding of ductwork systems and layout.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent attendance and communication skills.
- Critical thinking and leadership ability.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of IECC energy codes and practices.
- Familiarity with SMACNA standards and industry best practices.

- Able to bend, crawl, stoop, stretch, and reach.
- Able to walk on uneven surfaces.
- Able to work off a ladder, sometimes at heights.
- Able to safely lift 50 pounds.
